of Standard Original Songs: $9.99
The cost of these MP3 downloads is $9.99 per
song. After you pay the fee via PayPal through our website, you'll
receive instructions for downloading an MP3 of your desired song
along with an illustrated lyric sheet. You can use a music CD-creation
program on your computer to write the song on a CD and print the
lyric sheet for use at your special event. You can order the
songs directly from the song sample pages.
Note: For $9.99 you are purchasing a single-use license to download
the MP3 and jpg or pdf files and use them for one event, or give
them as a gift. The song may be played at a party and also be used
as the music track for a video or slide show, as long as a copyright
notice is included with the name(s) of the composer & lyricist
and SongLegacy.com. You may make additional copies for distribution
to other guests, but you may not sell or redistribute these files
for other uses. All copyright laws pertain. Contact
us if you would like to inquire about multi-use licenses or
bulk purchases.
2. Personalized
Custom Songs: Starting at $749*
The lyrics for your song will be written from
scratch based on information you provide us, and the music will
be your choice of original compositions by our professional composers.
The song will be recorded by a talented professional male or female
vocalist. For an additional fee of $90, our graphic arts team will
design an accompanying lyric sheet, CD jacket cover and CD label,
using photos you provide, supplemented by our extensive graphics
library. Most customers prefer to include this graphics package,
and the lyric sheets are often framed to hang on the wall or placed
in an album.
If you're interested in having us adapt the lyrics from one of our
MP3 download songs by adding a name and a few details, instead of
having entirely personalized lyrics written for you, please contact
us for pricing.
Delivery Methods:
We offer a choice of two delivery methods for
Option 2 (personalized songs):
(1) Electronic delivery: We'll prepare a private web page
with an MP3 file of your song, along with pdf files of the lyric
sheet, CD jacket cover and CD label images if you have requested
these graphics. You can download these files to your computer, write
the song on a CD (using a program on your computer to create music
CDs from MP3 files) and print the lyric sheet and CD cover pdf files.
The CD label can be printed and then affixed to the CD, or printed
directly on the CD if your printer has that option. There are no
shipping and handling charges for electronic delivery.
(2) CD Creation and Shipping: We'll create a CD with your
song. If you selected the graphics option, we'll print the label
on the CD, insert the personalized CD cover in the CD jacket and
print your lyric sheet(s) on high gloss protected sheet(s). Then
we'll ship the package via FedEx or postal mail. Normally an extra
charge of $65 will apply for CD preparation, shipping and handling
for addresses in the United States. (This charge may be higher,
depending on the shipping method and destination.)

* Songs are generally between 3 and 4 minutes long. If you'd
like to extend that length due to more information you'd like included
in the song, additional fees may apply. Additional fees also apply
if a duet is requested. A rush charge of of $25 per day will apply
if the order is received with fewer than 21 days notice for electronic
delivery (to any location), 28 days for CD shipments within the
US, and 35 days for CD shipments outside the U.S.
